Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: 27 August 2026

GoThumbnails generates images and text at scale, so a few clear limits keep it safe for creators and for the people who appear in their thumbnails.

1. Content you may not create

  • Sexual content involving minors, or any sexualisation of children — reported and terminated immediately.
  • Explicit sexual imagery, graphic violence or gore.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that demeans a protected group.
  • Content that promotes self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous challenges.
  • Instructions for weapons, malware or other seriously harmful activity.
  • Deceptive medical, financial or election claims presented as fact.

2. Faces, likeness and impersonation

Face profiles exist so you can put yourself in your thumbnails consistently. Upload photos only of yourself, or of someone who has given you clear permission.

  • No fabricating images of real people saying or doing things they did not.
  • No presenting yourself as another creator, brand or public figure.
  • No political deepfakes or misleading "reaction" imagery of identifiable people.
  • Remove a person's photos promptly if they withdraw permission.

3. Third-party rights

Do not upload images, logos, frames or artwork you do not have rights to, and do not use style cloning to reproduce another creator's protected artwork. Learning from patterns is fine; copying a specific work is not. Rights holders can report content through our DMCA process.

4. Platform and technical limits

  • No automated scraping, bulk crawling or resale of the API surface or generated feed.
  • No creating multiple accounts to farm free credits.
  • No probing, load-testing or bypassing rate limits, authentication or credit metering.
  • No reselling GoThumbnails output as a competing generation service.

5. Enforcement

Depending on severity we may remove content, block a feature, throttle an account, suspend it, or close it permanently. Serious violations — especially involving minors — are terminated without warning and reported where the law requires. Credits are not refunded for content removed under this policy. If you believe we acted in error, reply to the enforcement email and we will review it.

6. Reporting abuse

Email legal@gothumbnails.com with links or screenshots and a short description. Reports about a person's likeness are prioritised.
